Well, good morning (and it is a good morning). I hope everyone was as excited to see school closed 5 minutes before leaving for school as I was.
VDOT is listing all roads upgraded to moderately dangerous conditions from last night's listing of no road conditions whatsoever. This means we've got a shot at no school tomorrow. Not to mention how angry elementary school parents are going to be that they sent their kids to school only to have them sent home.
My guess is we've got a good shot at tomorrow if the road conditions stay the same. The temperatures are low and will stay low through most of the day, likely only reaching a high of 35 for a short period of time before dropping back below freezing until late morning tomorrow.
Right now, I'm predicting no school tomorrow based on the conditions of the roads. However, if the roads were to change conditions (i.e. The Golden Plows of God actually get the roads cleaned up), then count on school. As usual, study for your quizzes and do your math homework just in case.
